Every year in Term 4 our school takes time to reflect on the progress and impact of our current improvement plan (look in Our School for a copy), before deciding on the improvement priorities for the new session. When making decisions we first gather the views of everyone in our school community. Parents and carers can get involved in giving their opinion on school improvement in the following ways:
How? 1. Complete our online parent questionnaire. The link has been sent by text to parents.
Alternately, post the following link into your internet browser:
School computers are available at 3pm for families to use - just ask at our office.
2. Join a focus group to work alongside the head teacher, parents and pupils. You have already received texts inviting you to two previous meetings. You are invited to attend as many sessions as you can. The dates and focus of the next meetings are:
When? Session 1 – Inclusion - School Vision, Values and Aims: Friday 2 June, 1-3pm
Session 2 – Anti-bullying and LGBTI+ policy and practice:
Wednesday 7 June, 7-8pm
Session 3 – School Improvement Plan overview: Thursday 16 June
(Be assured, the sessions won’t be difficult and you aren’t required
to write anything!)
Where? School conference room (Tea/coffee and cakes at each meeting)
Pupils, staff and partners will be involved in activities to give their views on school improvement.
